With my daily routine, I sit down with my schedule to plan for the upcoming week. As I am staring at my schedule with all the school schedule too. I realized I have to face all the extra things to do... sec 4 is coming to an end... I am scared of the things that are coming. Expectations towards myself are getting higher and higher each day. I am not sure.. Am I able to reach it myself though I am the one who set my own expectations?
Do I trust my ability? I am really not sure.
This term, I need to put in extra effort than before to make sure things work out for me. With extra things to do also means that I must stop playing and take things more seriously now. Seems like this last term in my sec 4 is a lot of hard work for me. Final exams are coming in 5 weeks and O level will soon start in a few months time.
I do not know why my confidence level seems to drop quite a lot when I am looking at the things I have to do for school and waiting for what's coming up for me after I graduated from SNA and move to Singapore to prepare for my O level.
What should I do now? My confidence... I hope there is a pill that can help to pull up my confidence a bit more... Now, I just hope that I can do well in my studies and I will not put too much stress on myself which I usually do..
I think I shall sign off now. I need to go to bed. My head is really killing me right now...

ReplyDeleteFor my money, I think you are intelligent enough. Perhaps you should analyse the other parts of your study method or your general life to discern aspect yourself that you doubt.

I think I agree with what Mr.Gilbert said... It is your goal ok... better do not think that way...ok let me ask you what must you do when your life is shaky? focus right... focus on your outcome then?why do you let those things bother you... better do not let it bother you alot... just stay calm eventhough it is a challange of life and death

Mr. G: Yeah mr... I think I can't manage my time well.. My parents are really pushing me in doing my piano.. I had done Diploma ABRSM last year.. BUt they are pushing me to do the Diploma LRSM this year... :(

ReplyDeleteThe piano qualification can be taken another year. Methinks you should concentrate on your O levels. In this rather cruel world, you will be judged by your O levels and not your piano qualifications.

He still wants me to take my piano... He thinks that with piano I can earn a lot of my money then what for I wanna study again...

ReplyDeleteLoLx how come... My parents think that piano should be a side job right?I do not think that it can create more money than a doctor...It is true that teaching piano can earn more money,if... he/she is a really high qualified teaching skill.However Iam sure you can continue both of them.
