that’s something that could make and break people.
How do we fall in love? It’s a choice. a CHOICE that you make. Remember before getting together with your partner, that tingle in your heart when you see him, every little move of his could make your world go round. The texts that you receive that instantly brings a smile t you and brightens up your mundane life, those that you still keep, safe in a folder kept away in your phone. How you feel like you’re everything to them and all the attention that shone upon you at that period of time.
Then as time goes by, you start to get less of all those things. You start to change this person to what you want them to be, trying to manipulate their lives, always wanting to have a say in their daily lives, forgetting the reasons that attracted you to them. Before getting together, they managed to lead their lives independently and very well. But as you get together, and start to get used to one another’s presence, dependence starts to find its way into your life.
Love is simple, if you don’t complicate it, that is. Just remember what you saw in your partner when you were first attracted to them and keep things that way. Don’t try to change them because it’s their individualism that got you guys together.
And i’m in love with a not so perfect you, but that’s how you’ve got to accept them. For who they are.
